Our History
The Rababy Family & United Concessions Group
Founded in 1979 by Joe and Hayat Rababy, and currently operated by her children and grandchildren, United Concessions Group (UCG) is a 100% family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative culinary experiences to our guests.
Since our humble beginnings in airports, UCG has grown exponentially, owning and operating numerous airport businesses while maintaining a commitment to responsible growth. Today, our large extended family works tirelessly to ensure the ongoing success of the business they love.
Inspired by our mission to be a positive, successful, people-centric concessionaire fully devoted to every opportunity we are fortunate to be a part of, UCG embodies a culture of hustle, continuous improvement, and unwavering dedication to our customers and partners.
Hayat Rababy, with her lifelong career in airports, instilled her passion for serving airport guests in her family. Together, they bring new, fresh concepts and award-winning service to countless outlets in various airports. With over 40 years of history, UCG is dedicated to delivering the highest quality service and products, offering fresh and innovative cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Operating 7 days a week, 365 days a year, UCG is committed to helping the world Travel Well, Eat Well, and Be Well. Our dedication to providing around-the-clock service ensures that our customers have access to delicious food and top-notch service whenever they need it.
With operations in Cleveland, Akron, Cincinnati-Hebron, and Pittsburgh, the second and third generations of the Rababy family bring energy, innovation, and a commitment to continuing the family traditions. They are constantly improving the concession experience and securing exclusive rights to the latest culinary trends.
